How Can You Not Get Inspired after Hearing Her Achievements?
Meeting a polyglot / kickboxing national runner-up / CEO
Weekly Highlight
This past Friday, I met the most interesting person I’ve met in a while. Here are excerpts from her LinkedIn bio:
“I speak 6 languages fluently…
“I placed #2 in the Swedish Kickboxing Nationals in 2018…
“I am now full-time as CEO at Fika, the female-focused AI social & dating app targeting the Southeast Asian market….
I think you need to meet people like that sometimes to give you perspective. It made me think “If she could do all that, I can achieve my crazy goals too.” Great timing, because after this week I’ll go on vacation for 3.5 weeks. Plenty of time to recharge and deep dive into a project. I might not be a polyglot, Kickboxing national runner up or a CEO by the end of it - but I can get a great start.

Notes and thoughts on this video:
I recorded this once, but it got too long since I was explaining more about where I was careerwise at each job. So the above is actually the shorter version!
I only had a few bullet points to guide what I was talking about, so it felt a lot easier to record - but it didn’t feel as cohesive as I’d like. For example, no clear summary in the end.
